Privacy Policy

Who’s this?

Obviously, the website address is: https://mike-allen.org.uk and I’m Mike Allen.
The title page describes my background and why I’ve created this slightly fatous web presence, but you’ve probably already read all that already, ready?

Cookies

I don’t allow comments from anyone else, so you won’t be able to login, join or post anything – this is simply a closed (“vanity”) website. Yea, you guessed that, so why you’re reading a Privacy Policy isn’t clear – isn’t this all a bit redundant?

And as I don’t have a “Contact Me” form, I won’t be collecting any data about you in order to do that. If you do want to contact me, go back to the home page and read it fully – there are methods explained there. Go on, read it again, you may have just ignored that sentence.

Therefore, it’s unlikely that I will have set cookies to improve your browsing experience, and I won’t be saving your name, email address, any personal data or similar in cookies.

Any cookies that this WordPress site sets will only be temporary, assuming your browser accepts such cookies, will not contain any personal data, and be discarded when you close your browser.
I haven’t set anything that would enable me to do any statistical analyses of site visitors: I’m simply not bothered or interested.

Embedded content from other websites

It is possible that some articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if you visited that other website.

Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who I share your data with

No one.

I don’t collect any personal data; any cookie information is discarded as you close your browser, and I don’t ask for anything more, either specifically or through any use of cookies.

How long I retain your data

As there’s no data being requested from or submitted by you, there’s no retention period: I simply don’t have it!

What rights you have over your data

As I’m not requesting any data from you, there is no data to be held, retained, exported or erased.

Are you getting the gist of this? I just don’t want it or even have it. Yea, that.

Where your data is sent

No data is collected; I think you’ve guessed that by now, so it ain’t sent anywhere. Got it?
